Space startup Agnikul launches first privately operated Launchpad facility in India
New Delhi, Nov. 29 -- India's first privately designed and operated Launchpad and Mission Control centre was inaugurated at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, space startup Agnikul Cosmos announced on Monday.
The Agnikul Launchpad was launched on November 25 by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman S Somanath.
Agnikul Cosmos, incubated at the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, also plans to launch its customisable Agnibaan rocket from the Launchpad before the end of this year.
