Chennai, Sept. 24 -- In Tamil Nadu's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) services sector accounts for 53.9 per cent followed by the manufacturing sector with a 20.2 per cent share, as per RBI report.

The data also points out that the state's sector-wise contribution towards GSDP has remained stagnant in the last 10 years.

Other industries (including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) contribute 13 per cent and agriculture sector accounts for 12.9 per cent of the total GSDP, said the report.

In view of growth the services sector has witnessed a maximum growth of 2.9 per cent, followed by the manufacturing sector at 0.1 per cent.
