New Delhi, Jan. 18 -- A delegation from National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) led by National Coordinator, Arbind Singh met with the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri on January 16th to discuss the issue of the street vendors in the capital.
The issues pertained to the functioning of the Town Vending Committees (TVC) declaration of the Vending and Non- Vending Zones, the status of the vendors of the heritage market of Karol Bagh and also setting up Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution Committees in each local authority.
