New Delhi, Dec. 1 -- Indias Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in November stood at 55.7 in November, up from 55.3 in October, according to a monthly survey released on Thursday.

It is in contrast to the real GDP numbers released yesterday according to which the manufacturing output declined by 4.3%.





According to the survey compiled by compiled by S&P Global, the Manufacturing activities in India touched a three-month high in November as new orders and exports expanded boosted by demand resilience and substantial easing of cost pressure.

The PMI data for the month of November showed an improvement in the overall operating conditions for the 17th straight month.
