Deadline for linking PAN with Aadhaar extended till March 31, 2021

New Delhi, June 25 -- The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the deadline for linking Permanent Account Number (PAN) card with Aadhaar card, failing which all such PAN cards which are not linked to Aadhaar would be useless and declared inoperative after the deadline ends.

The date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar card has further been extended to March 31, 2021. The previous deadline for linking PAN with Aadhaar was June 30, 2020.
