New Delhi, Dec. 1 -- Minister of State for MSME, Bhanu Pratap Verma said on Wednesday that the government is working on doubling the contribution of MSMEs towards the Indian economy.
He said that this will be possible only when Indias MSME sector realises its full potential.
Speaking at a Summit, he emphasised on how the MSME sector contributes one-third to India's gross domestic product (GDP).
He said the Ministry is working towards this objective by resolving challenges and bottlenecks.
Our vision is to double the contribution of MSME sector to India's economy by realising its full potential. We will resolve internal bottlenecks towards this objective, he said.
