Afghanistan, Sept. 16 -- Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said that they are not imposing any conditions on the Taliban and added that they are declaring their objectives themselves which are fighting terrorism and drug trafficking.

The Russian foreign minister arrived at the collective security treaty organization (CSTO) meeting in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Wednesday, September 15.

Sergey Lavrov said that the Taliban's commitment to fighting terrorism and drug trafficking is welcomed by them as other countries do.

"They (Taliban) assured everyone they will do everything to prevent threats on neighboring countries. We support most other countries and welcomed such an approach." Said Lavrov.
