Afghanistan, Oct. 15 -- United Kingdom condemned the Taliban ongoing offensives in Helmand province in South Afghanistan, which has left at least 6,000 families displaced since beginning of this week.

"The UK strongly condemns the Taliban offensive in Helmand that has seen alarming numbers of civilians displaced, injured or killed," said British Embassy in Kabul in an emailed statement to Khaama Press.

While the Afghan and Taliban delegations in Doha negotiate on peace in the country, war throughout Afghanistan has escalated more recently, triggering concern among local and international allies over ongoing process.
