Afghanistan, April 4 -- In a dramatic policy announcement that's making waves globally, President Donald Trump has officially introduced a new $5 million "Gold Card" - a premium residency program aimed at affluent foreigners seeking permanent U.S. residency and a pathway to citizenship.

Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to the LIV Golf tour in Florida, Trump held up a sample of the card, emblazoned with his own image, calling it the "Trump card."
