Afghanistan, April 8 -- In a Taliban attack on a security outpost, one policeman was killed and two others were injured.
The incident took place on Wednesday night in the Kobaki area in the Paghman district of Kabul province, security sources told media on Thursday.
Taliban militants have also suffered casualties during the skirmish, sources indicated.
According to the reports, a clearance operation is underway to free the area from Taliban influence.
Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, however local officials have not yet commented on the incident.
This is the fourth insurgency attack on security force members in Paghman district in less than a week.
