Afghanistan, Oct. 20 -- The Afghan forces arrested a Pakistani couple in the restive Kunduz province of Afghanistan, the defense officials said.

Fawad Aman, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said the security forces arrested the couple in Dasht-e Arachi district of Kunduz.

Aman further added that the couple was providing healthcare to the wounded Taliban fighters in Kunduz.

Meanwhile, the Special Operations Corps said in a statement that the security forces arrested the couple during the clearance operations in Dasht-e Archi district.

The statement further added that the security forces also killed 12 Taliban militants and wounded 10 others during the same operations.
