Afghanistan, Sept. 25 -- Afghan Security officials held funeral procession for two Afghan Air Force pilots killed in a helicopter crash Thursday in Pul-e-Khumri city, the center of Baghlan province.

The pilots were named Bismillah and Faisal.

On Thursday, the MD 530 Afghan Air Force helicopter crashed in Pul-e-Khumri city, the center of northern Baghlan province, killing both pilots on board, the Afghan Ministry of Defense confirmed in a statement.

According to the Ministry, preliminary studies show some technical issues were the cause of the crash, but officials said an investigating team is instructed to find more details.

The incident happened in the Kaprak area of Pul-e-Khumri city.
