US & Canada, World, Jan. 20 -- Joe Biden took the oath of office at the U.S Capitol on Wednesday, becoming the 46th president of the United States and seeks to change some of Trump's executive orders.

Biden remarked after swearing-in saying "Democracy has prevailed!", Joe also thanked representatives of both parties in the audience. "We've come so far, but we still have so far to go . much to repair, much to restore . and much to gain."

He said that his swearing-in marked "history and hope".

"Not today, not tomorrow, not ever," he said about the quest of a "riotous mob" to take over the American government.

"We must end this uncivil war. .We can do this if we open our souls instead of hardening our hearts."
