Afghanistan, June 14 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan (MoFA) reacted to the recent move by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran for summoning the Afghan envoy in Tehran over recent anti-Iran demonstrations by the Afghans.
According to a statement released by MoFA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran summoned Abdul Ghafoor Liwal, the Afghan Ambassador to Tehran, over recent demonstrations by the Afghans against Iran in some cities of Afghanistan.
The statement further added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran also lodged a protest with the Afghan envoy regarding the recent demonstrations.
