Afghanistan, Nov. 17 -- The Afghanistan national cricket team defeated West Indies by 29 runs to clinch the T20 International series 2-1.

Played in Lucknow of India, Afghanistan set a target of 156 runs by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat first.

Rahmatullah Gurbaz scored the most runs for Afghanistan by opening the batting innings for Afghanistan with Hazratullah Zazai who could not score any run.

The West Indies batsmen could not chase the given target and scored 127 runs only by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.
