Afghanistan, Aug. 4 -- Afghan Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar in a telephonic call on Tuesday asked his Indian counterpart to raise the issue of ongoing atrocities in Afghanistan in the UN Security Council as the latter assumed the council's presidency for the month of August.
Muhammad Hanif Atmar asked Jishanker to arrange a special gathering of the UNSC on Afghanistan.
