Afghanistan, April 18 -- The scheduled visit by Afghan delegation to Qatar has been postponed likely due to Taliban's opposition to the list of participants which was published by the government on Tuesday, consisting the names of 250 participants.

Sources privy of the development have told media outlets that the trip has been postponed for several hours due to technical issues.

An informed source has told RFE/RL that the trip of the Afghan delegation was postponed after Taliban opposed with the list of the participants.

The Afghan delegation was due to leave for Qatar on Thursday to participate in intra-Afghan talks which will be convened in Doha from 19th to 21st of April.
