Afghanistan, April 22 -- Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem became the victim of a theft Sunday evening while dining with her family at a restaurant in downtown Washington, D.C., according to federal officials.

The incident occurred at the Capital Burger restaurant, where Noem was having dinner with her children and grandchildren during an Easter weekend visit. According to law enforcement sources, an unidentified white male wearing a medical mask was seen on security footage removing Noem's purse and exiting the premises.

The stolen bag reportedly contained approximately $3,000 in cash, her driver's license, passport, apartment keys, medication, makeup bag, blank checks, and an official Department of Homeland Security access badge. ...
