BARAMULLA, Oct. 22 -- Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo, who is also the District Panchayat Election Officer today informed that all the requisite arrangements including security and other necessary arrangements have been put in place for the upcoming Block Development Council (BDC) elections, scheduled to be held on October 24.
D C was addressing a meeting convened here at Dak Bungalow to finalize arrangements for the said elections. Meeting was attended by SSPs of Baramulla and Sopore, ADC Sopore, DDEO, ACR, SDMs, ACD, Tehsildars, district and sectoral officers and other concerned.
