Srinagar, Jan. 24 -- Ahead of the Republic day celebrations, police and security forces besides students from various schools and colleges had a full dress rehearsal of Republic Day parade today in all the districts of Kashmir valley.
Various contingents of police, Home Guards, Fire & Emergency Services, Forest Protection Forces, IRP and CAPFs participated in full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day parade.
In Srinagar, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan presided over the parade. On the occasion IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar-IPS, DIG CKR V.K Birdhi-IPS, SSP Srinagar Haseeb Mughal-JKPS and other senior officers from Police and security forces were present.
