Srinagar, April 8 -- Thirty three persons were declared positive for Covid19 on Wednesday, raising the tally of COVID-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir to 158.

A health official told KNS that 11 of them are from SKIMS Soura, 19 from Chest Disease hospital and three from Jammu.

"19 of them came out to be positive," the doctor said.

Among these 19, the doctor said most of them are from Srinagar besides Pulwama and Kulgam districts.

Earlier five residents of Srinagar, 1 from Baramulla, 4 from Bandipora and 1 Kupwara.

The Bandipora have a history of contact with previous patients and are aged 16, 38, 30 and 36 years old respectively, official said.
