Srinagar, March 7 -- The minimum temperatures dropped across Kashmir even as the experts have predicted a bout of wet spell in the Valley.

A meteorological department official said that Srinagar recorded a low of 3.8 degree Celsius against 4.2 degree Celsius the previous night. The temperature was 2.0 degree Celsius above normal for this time of the year in this summer capital, the official said.

Qazigund, the gateway town of Kashmir, recorded a low of 1.5 degree Celsius against 2.3 degree Celsius on the previous night while the mercury settled at minus 1.8 degree Celsius at the tourist resort of Pahalgam against 0.3 degree Celsius on the earlier night.
