Maseru, Feb. 23 -- The Moshoeshoe Walk, an annual three day walk from Menkhoaneng to Thaba-Bosiu has been cancelled due to the prevailing condition of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event which is organized by T-Connexion Marketing and Tours Managing Director Thabo Maretlane, commemorated the legacy of King Moshoeshoe I for the past 14 years was supposed to celebrate its 15th anniversary milestone this year. According to the organizer and the founder of Moshoeshoe Walk, the reason for the cancellation of the walk is due to fear of the surge in Covid-19 cases in the country.
