MASERU, Jan. 10 -- The Prime Minister (PM) Dr Motsoahae Thomas Thabane's decision to suspend the Police Commissioner Holomo Molibeli is compromising the principles of good governance and the rule of law.

This is according to Development for Peace Education (DPE), Transformation Resource Centre (TRC), the Lesotho Council of Non-governmental Organizations (LCN), Survivors of Lesotho Dams (SOLD), and Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace (CCJP). The organizations' mandates is, among others, to monitor that the government of Lesotho fulfils its obligations of ensuring good governance, rule of law and respect for human rights.
