MASERU, Feb. 18 -- Lesotho will receive the first batch of Covid-19 vaccine from the end of February instead of April as it was initially anticipated.

This was announced at the National COVID-19 Secretariat (NACOSEC) virtual press conference yesterday during an update on Vaccine procurement and roll-out plan and Covid-19 surveillance, infection and positivity rate in the population.

When addressing the press, NACOSEC Head of Case Management Dr. 'Makhoase Ranyali said the vaccine will start arriving at the end of this month to the beginning of March.
