It is important that we understand that leaders and managers are vital wheels of organizational existence and ultimately excellence.
Peter Drucker once defined a Manager as someone who does work through others. Jack Welch once stated that you are a leader when you know the way, go all the way and show the way. A closer look at the above definitions can show you that a manager is a compliance person and a leader is an influencer. No wonder John Maxwell said leadership is influence.
