Hyderabad, April 20 -- As many as 27,093 students appeared for the entrance test conducted by the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) on Saturday for admission into 5th class of minorities' residential schools. According to TMREIS Secretary a large number of applications for admissions has prompted the Society to conduct an entrance examination this year. As against the 14,640 vacancies in the 5th class, 40,483 students were enrolled and 27,093 students appeared for the Entrance Test conducted today, seeking a seat in Class V across 204 schools.
