Hyderabad, Jan. 19 -- The state government employees along with the retired employees and their dependants, who were admitted as in-patient for Covid-19 treatment, are eligible for medical reimbursement claim, if they are admitted to the hospital in emergency condition.
The ceiling cap for Covid care is limited to Rs.1 lakh, Telangana, SAM Rizvi, Principal Secretary, Health, Medical and Family Welfare, said in a memo on Monday.
In November 2020, Dr. K Ramesh Reddy, Director of Medical Education (DME), wrote a letter to the State Government to provide clarification on the topic of payment penalties for government employees treated in private hospitals for Covid-19.
