Hyderabad, Jan. 18 -- Tense moments prevailed among the residents in Shamshabad after a leopard was reportedly sighted in the early hours of Monday near Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
A video clip, from a CCTV footage, showing the animal walking on the road between Shamshabad and Tukkuguda before jumping a wall that has a wired fence and is said to be the compound wall of the runway.
It is believed that the leopard went towards Bahadurpura. A local says that the police and the forest department were told of having seen it.
Officials from the Forest Department have reached the spot and are checking the facts and footage from the surveillance cameras in the area. There's still no official confirmation.
