Hyderabad, May 23 -- As many as 52 new Coronavirus positive cases were registered across the Telangana State till 9 pm on Saturday. One death was also reported today.
According to Media Bulletin issued by the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, of 52 cases, as many as 33 cases were reported from Greater Hyderabad while the remaining 19 cases are of migrant workers. A total of 25 persons were also discharged today on getting cured.
With this increase, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases in the State has increased to 1,813. Since 1,068 people were also cured and discharged, the number of active cases in the State is 696. With one death on Saturday, the death toll has increased to 49.
