Hyderabad, Jan. 19 -- Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday started his day-long Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) tour to inspect and review the issues at the field level. At around 10.30 am, along with his wife Shobha, he performed a special puja at the Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy temple.
The couple paid floral tributes on that day to the Godavari River at the Pushkara Ghat, the confluence of the Godavari Pranahita. They offered the River Godavari water with auspicious turmeric, saffron, and coins.
