Mumbai, July 15 -- Amidst lockdown, EuroSchool, Airoli concluded French Day celebration with students, bringing to an end a week-long engagement that included a journey through the famous Francophone culture, art and gastronomy. French is the second most spoken foreign language in the country after English.
The celebration focused on engaging students with the culture of France including mime art, virtual theatre performances and a puppet workshop conducted by Mr. Frederic Simon - Director of Alliance Francaise de Bombay and a French creative writing competition with participants from across the country. The winners were felicitated by Ms. Sonia Barbry, Consul General of France in Mumbai.
