Jammu, April 8 -- District Employment & Counselling Centre Jammu organized a Career Counselling cum Awareness Programme at Panchayat Khairi, Block Bishnah.

The resource person from DECC, Jammu, Dushant Singh, Career Counselling Officer guided the participants about various Career Avenues available for the unemployed educated youth.

The Focus of the session was on Self Employment Schemes, various Skill Development Programmes run by the Government and Job Opportunities in Private sector.

Shivali Choudhary, Employment Officer, DECC Jammu spoke on the National Career Service Portal and its relevance for Job Seekers.
