Srinagar, Jan. 30 -- Security forces destroyed a militant hideout and arrested four militant associates in Jammu and Kashmir's Awantipora sub district, police said on Monday.

The militant associates were linked with terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, they said.

Police said the militant hideout was busted and destroyed at Hafoo Nageenpora forests of Awantipora by joint forces.

Police said a case has been registered and investigations are in progress.
