Manipur, Sept. 22 -- 'World Clean Up Day' observations was observed today at Imphal on the theme of 'Let's Do It India'. The event was organised by Let's Do It Manipur Team under the UN Environment programme.
The programme held today, one of largest civic movements held across 157 countries, was flagged off by Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Lorho S Pfoze.
A cleanliness drive sponsored by Manipur Urban Development Authority (MUDA) was also held as part of the observation, and it witnessed the participation of members and representatives of Manipur University Tribal Students Association (MUTSA), Majorkhul Youth Club, and students of MBC hostel along with several other individuals.
