IMPHAL, May 22 -- Two died in a road mishap today at Sekmai Koujeng Leima Market along national highway earlier known as NH-39 which has been renamed as NH-2 in a head to head collision with a two wheeler and one loaded truck.
The incident occurred today at about 10 am. The deceased has been identified as one Angom Sandeep, 32, son of A. Shyam of Awang Sekmai Makha Leikai and Maharabam Jackychand, 29, son of late M. Singhajit of Sekmai Bazaar. It is said that both are professional painters.
According to family members of Sandeep, it is said that the incident took place when they were going for work when a loaded truck heading towards Imphal hit on head to head collision at Sekmai Koujeng Leima Market under the jurisdiction of Sekmai polic...
