Manipur, June 25 -- A tree sapling plantation programme was held today at the playground of Khurkhul Youth Club (N), co-hosted by Sukumar Football Academy and Malem Care Foundation, Manipur.
The programme was jointly organised by Central Forest Division, Imphal Foundation for Rejuvenating Environment Social- Economy and Health (Fresh); Khurkhul Youth Club (North) and Khurkhul Model Standard High School. And during the event, each participant planted around 300 saplings. An inspection programme is further scheduled to be conducted on October 12 in order to examine the conditions of the samplings planted today and ensure their growth and survival.
