UKHRUL, Aug. 24 -- Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) has call for a one-day prayer and fasting programme for the Naga Peace talk scheduled to be held on September 1 in all Tangkhul churches within and outside the State.
At a press conference held at TBCA Headquarter, Alungtang Ukhrul, the Association appealed all Tangkhul churches irrespective of denomination to join together in prayer and fasting programme for an honourable and peaceful solution. "As a Christian, it is our bounden duty to pray to God for peaceful coexistence of all. It is also a time to pray for an honourable solution, a solution without hurting the sentiments of any community," the association said.
