Manipur, Jan. 24 -- Parents of 24 students who were sponsored by Salai Holdings for their education in a private school appealed to the state government to provide financial supports for their education.

Mother of a student, Konthoujam Romita while speaking to the media on Thursday at the premise of Vocational Guidance School, Sangaithel said, since the financial firm office was sealed by the government, the financial aid given by Salai has been halted.

The office of Salai Holdings was sealed on November 2, 2019 following the declaration of Manipur's 'independence' and formation of an 'exiled government' at a press conference held in London by the then chairman of Salai Holdings Narengbam Samarjit.
