Manipur government's failure to convene special assembly session on Naga talk issue sign of division in alliance: Former CM Ibobi
Manipur, Nov. 9 -- The inability of the state government to hold a special assembly session to discuss the Indo-Naga talks issue points to the fact it is "scared" of the central leaders, former Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh of the Congress party said in Imphal Saturday.
"The inability of the state government to convene a special assembly session to discuss the Indo-Naga talks issue is a sign that it is scared of the Central leaders and there is a division within the alliance," Ibobi told mediapersons at a press conference here today.
Reiterating Congress's stance not to compromise Manipur's integrity, Ibobi suggested that Chief Minister N Biren should be bold enough to apprise the Centre of the apprehension in the minds of the people...
