Manipur, April 9 -- Physical classes for classes 9-12 will continue by strictly observing the approved SoPs.

As the second wave of COVID-19 hits Manipur, the state government has directed all schools in the state which reopened recently for classes 6-8 to remain closed with immediate effect and until further order.

L Nandakumar Singh, director (Education-S), Manipur, in an order issued on Friday instructed all concerned stakeholders of government and private institution/schools in the state that the recently reopened schools for classes 6-8 shall remain closed with immediate effect and until further orders in view of the second wave of COVID-19 and to avoid any kind of unwanted consequences.
