Manipur, May 16 -- The Police Control Room, Manipur Police on Wednesday stated that 10 accused persons in connection with the murder of a youth, Moinam Md Tomba, 20, son of Md Nasimuddin of Keibung Mathak Leikai, Thoubal have been arrested.

The arrested persons are Salman Khurshid,29, Md Manjur, 39, Hawaibam Chester alias Chalamba, 29, Sinam Aimsum, 28, Oinam Leonando Meitei, 25, Md Majibur, 19, Elangbam Gobin Singh, 33, Yangkhubam Rajia, 22, Md Azam Khan, 32 and Silvia, 19, stated a release.

All-out efforts are being made to arrest other accused persons involved in the case. Investigation continues, it mentioned. During the last 24 hours, the situation in the state was under control, it stated.
