Manipur, April 19 -- Governor Dr. Najma Heptulla and chief minister N. Biren Singh extended their greetings to the people of Manipur especially Christian community on the holy occasion of Good Friday.
Governor remarked that Good Friday marks the day when Jesus Christ was crucified signifying his compassion and sacrifice for all the sins of mankind. "He was truly the son of God and His message of love, forgiveness, truth and renunciation of violence, fanaticism or revenge should always be remembered by one and all", she stated.
