Manipur, March 21 -- On the occasion of Yaoshang festival, state top officials Governor Najma Heptullah and chief minister Nongthombam Biren Singh and Speaker Yumnam Khemchand has extended their heartiest greetings to the people of Manipur.
Governor on her message said Yaoshang known as Holi elsewhere is celebrated at the onset of spring, which signifies the rejuvenation of the spirit of life. "On the occasion of Yaoshang this year, let us all resolve to pave a way for a better and peaceful Manipur where community respects each and appreciates the space and functions of other communities for a harmonious co-existence" goes the message.
