IMPHAL, May 22 -- The exit polls conducted for the 17th Lok Sabha election 2019 by major Indian media is overestimated and exaggerated, said Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Gaikhangam.

He was commenting on the projection of the majority exit polls which show numerical inferiority for the INC led UPA. The exit poll was conducted after seventh and final phase poll on May 19.

While interacting with media persons at his office at Congress Bhavan today, Gaikhangam stated that everybody is free to express their opinion, however, the exit polls assumptions are quite hard to believe.
