Manipur, June 27 -- The political storm brewing within the BJP led Manipur Government over leadership issue has apparently grown in strength, although the BJP Manipur including the chief minister N. Biren Singh officially denied there is one.
According to highly placed reliable sources, a meeting convened by chief minister this evening to hear the grievances of the dissidents in an attempt to resolve the ongoing crisis brewing within the party for over a month now, has been deferred.
The sources said that the meeting had to be deferred as a maximum numbers of MLAs and Ministers of the coalition Government did not turn up for the meeting.
