Manipur, June 27 -- An all-female writers group titled 'Ningol Khut' was formed yesterday with the objective of promoting female writers from areas of Thoubal who are reportedly lacking behind in the field of Khorirol (Indigenous literature).
A release signed by the secretary of the newly- formed group stated that eminent writer Khundongbam (Ongbi) Gunimani Leima has been selected as president of 'Ningol Khut' while emerging writer, Heikham Chaoba of Wangjing, and Soibam (Ongbi) Radha Leima of Wangjing have been selected as secretary and treasurer respectively.
