Delhi deploys 600+ machines to prevent air pollution
New Delhi, June 17 -- The Delhi government will soon deploy over 600 advanced machines-including 460 water sprinklers, 70 road sweeping machines, and 70 litter pickers-to curb air pollution, officials said on Monday.
Chief minister Rekha Gupta, after inspecting a demonstration at Delhi Secretariat, said, "These advanced machines mark the beginning of a new technology-driven sanitation mindset."
She said every assembly constituency will receive machines under a Cabinet-approved plan. Equipped with GPS, CCTV, and AQI monitors, these machines will be centrally monitored....
