Mumbai, July 27 -- The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday refused to grant interim relief to the BMC and its contractors, who challenged the Bombay high court's (HC) order restraining work on the Rs14,000crore coastal road project over potential environmental damage. The SC bench of CJI Ranjan Gogoi and justice Deepak Gupta also issued notices to all petitioners and the Maharashtra government and asked them to submit responses on the BMC's plea.
