Mumbai, April 22 -- A campaign rally of chief minister Devendra Fadnavis landed in controversy, after it was found that Sambhaji Bhide, a rightwing leader from Sangli accused of inciting the Bhima-Koregaon violence on January 1, 2018, attended it along with other BJP leaders on Sunday. Fadnavis was in Sangli to campaign for BJP candidate and sitting MP Sanjay Kaka Patil on Sunday, the last day for campaigning for the third phase of general polls to be held on April 23.
